About Erika

Erika is the author of two self-help books, Let Your Greatest Struggles Provide Your Greatest Opportunities and 52 Weeks of Self Relfection.  Each of these books help readers explore the challenges of life while encouraging them to use challenging situations to make them stronger. In her most recent book, 52 Weeks of Self Reflection, Erika introduced a guided self-reflection journal which provides a years worth of reflection prompts to focus on and develop. It will help you develop a newfound level of clarity, calmness and understanding. This title is an Amazon Best Seller.

In July of 2017, Erika will launch her 3rd book, Taking Back My Marbles. In this book she tells her story of living with mental illness, the daily struggle and why mental health awareness is so important for women, youth and the african american community.

Erika currently lives in Florida. With a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in media communications, Erika began writing professionally in 2008 and later started her business, It’s Only Write Communications, in 2009. Through her business she helps individuals and businesses build and grow themselves with her teachings of effective business communication and content development.
